Digital: Rightster to acquire sports assets of Mediasyndicator

British company Rightster, specialised in the distribution of video content and monetisation on digital platforms, has acquired the sports assets of Mediasyndicator, on the 16/09/2013.

Mediasyndicator is a British company specialised in publishing sports content, advertising sales and the development of interactions with users on digital platforms. The company has sold its "Sportsyndicator" division to Rightster, the largest digital content portfolio related to sport, according to the consulting firm Comscore.

This portfolio includes more than 40 sports websites, including Football League Interactive, the company managing the Internet and mobile rights for Football League (2nd, 3rd and 4th English Divisions) clubs, and eight Premier League clubs, as well as League & Club website, a platform to enable amateur leagues and clubs, to create their website.

This collection of sites will extend the reach of Rightster’s network by 280 million advertisement impressions and over 8 million unique users, indicates Rightster.
