Lega Serie A: Ordinary General Assembly originally scheduled on 14/07/2017, postponed to 26/07/2017

"The Ordinary General Assembly of the Italian professional league Serie A has been rescheduled at the professional league's headquarters in Milan (ITA) on Wednesday, 26/07/2017, at 10:00 CET for the first meeting (quorum for activities requiring four fifths of the participants) and at 12:00 CET for the second meeting (three fifths quorum)," announced the Lega Serie A on 14/07/2017.

The assembly was scheduled to take place on Friday, 14/07/2017, but nine of the 20 clubs (AC Chievo Verona, AC Milan, SS Lazio, Udinese Calcio, Genoa CFC, Atalanta BC, Benevento Calcio, FC Crotone, and Hellas Verona FC) notified the day before that they would not be attending the assembly. Carlo Tavecchio, president of the FIGC and the special commissioner of the Lega Serie A, decided on 13/07/2017, "in agreement with sub-commissioners Paolo Nicoletti and Michele Uva," to postpone the assembly due to the lack of quorum.
