Formula 1: partnership between Formula One Group, Snap Inc. to cover races via "Our stories" feature

Formula One Group, the US holding company which owns Formula 1, has joined with Snapchat, the photo and video sharing application, to offer its fans coverage of some of the upcoming Formula 1 Grand Prix races via the feature "Our Stories", on its editorial platform Discover, on 13/07/2017.

With the feature "Our Stories", the fans around the track will be able to send photos and videos to the application with their smartphone's geolocation service and share their experiences. Snapchat will then make a selection of the videos sent by the fans to put them online to the story "Our Stories" of the Grand Prix, visible to all users of the application.

"The deal marks Formula 1's first commercial collaboration with a major digital and mobile-first platform," officially started at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone, on Sunday, 16/07/2017. "Snap will cover the races in Singapore, Japan, USA, Mexico, Brazil, and Abu Dhabi," said the US holding company.
