Carolyn McCall has been appointed as the CEO of ITV, announced the British private audiovisual group on 17/07/2017. She will take up her duties from 08/01/2018, replacing Adam Crozier, who left the group in June 2017. Temporarily replaced by Ian Griffiths, the current CFO of the group, in collaboration with Peter Bazalgette, the president of ITV.

Carolyn McCall has been the CEO of easyJet since July 2010, after being the CEO of the press group Guardian Media. She is also a member of the board of directors at the French Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain.

ITV retained for the UK, via CAA Eleven, the broadcasting rights to the English national team for the 2018-2022 cycle, on 26/01/2017. ITV will therefore be able to continue the broadcast of the UEFA-zone qualifying matches of the England team (for Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup). In addition, ITV acquired the rights to match summaries of all games of the English national team over the 2018-2022 period.

  • CAA Eleven (CAA 11) is the agency which manages the TV rights of competitions between national teams of UEFA since 01/10/2012.
