LaLiga Santander: Philips Lighting official supplier of Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán of Sevilla FC

Philips Lighting Spain and Portugal, a subsidiary of the Dutch technology group Philips, has become the official supplier of Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán (42,500 capacity) of Sevilla FC (LaLiga Santander) from 2017-18, announced the two parties on 22/06/2017.

"The company will install new LED lighting so that the pitch meets all television broadcasting requirements, including those for UDHTV. All of this will improve the supporters' experience and strengthen the allure of the stadium to host other events," said the club.

More than 65% of major sports stadiums and 55% of football stadiums around the world are equipped with Philips Lighting technology, according to the group. "The lighting will be completed for the start of the season with the installation of the ArenaVision system, which includes 360 Philips ArenaVision LED gen 2 floodlights and 8 automated Philips Vari-Lite VL6000 floodlights for entertainment lighting," said Sevilla FC and Philips Lighting.
