Ligue 1 Conforama: Olympique Lyonnais launch a "chatbot" for its 2017-18 season ticket campaign

Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Conforama) have launched a "chatbot" as part of its 2017-18 season ticket campaign, the club said on 13/07/2017. This activation is carried out in partnership with myElefant, which supplies "an enriched mobile messaging platform" and is already developing bots in the tourism, banking, and retail sectors.

"'Chat is an online discussion and the 'bot' is a robot (or artificial intelligence). The chatbot, also known as a conversational agent, is programmed to simulate a conversation in natural language. Olympique Lyonnais are the first club in the European Union to integrate this ultra-innovative channel in the sporting sector. The mechanics adopted involve asking the internet user a series of questions so that, in response, the bot offers the person the season ticket most suited to their needs," explained Olympique Lyonnais.
