China: agreement between AC Milan and CNGEF (public body) for the development of school football

"Today is a very important day for us. This agreement with CNGEF (China Next Generation Education Foundation) is a great opportunity for Chinese football to grow and to develop a new model for all young players," said Yonghong Li, president of AC Milan (Serie A TIM), on 16/07/2017 in Guangzhou (CHN).

These remarks were made during the press conference organised as part of the "AC Milan China Tour 2017", which aims, in addition to the signing of the agreement with CNGEF, to officially present the Italian team to the Chinese public following the acquisition of the club by Rossoneri Sport Investment Lux, the Luxembourg-based company of Yonghong Li, on 14/04/2017.

The China Next Generation Education Foundation is a public body, which therefore depends on the Chinese government through the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Its objective is to promote and support the development of the Chinese youth in all fields, from sport to education, including integrating them into the professional world.
