Premier League: Falken Tire (tyres) becomes a global partner of Liverpool FC from 2017-18

Falken Tire, the Japanese tyre brand which belongs to the Sumitomo Rubber Industries group, has become a global partner and official tyre partner of Liverpool FC (Premier League) from the 2017-18 season, on 17/07/2017.

Falken Tire, which will benefit from the status of official partner (in the second level of the sponsorship hierarchy of Liverpool FC), will replace Maxxis as the official tyre partner of the club. The Taiwanese tyre manufacturer was an official partner of Liverpool FC since the 2009-10 season.

"Falken will also benefit from a range of marketing and promotional rights including digital and social media support, pitchside LED, stadium branding, and access to LFC players and legends," said the club, which signed the agreement in Hong Kong where Liverpool won the 2017 Premier League Asia Trophy (victory over Leicester City FC, 2-1, at the Hong Kong Stadium on 22/07/2017).
