Karen Webb, communications director of the International Centre for Sports Security

Karen Webb has been appointed director of communications of Qatar organisation ICSS (International Centre for Security in Sport), on the 17/09/2013. She will work directly with Hanzab Mohammed, president of the Centre, and will advise on the communication strategy of the ICSS, while continuing ICSS's current activities, including events such as Securing Sport 2014 to be held in Doha (Qatar) from the 13 to the 15/04/2014.

"Karen joins at a very exciting time for the ICSS with many important events and initiatives set to be unveiled over the next few months. With security and integrity stories currently dominating the news agenda, I look forward to working with Karen to develop the next chapter of the ICSS story," said Mohammed Hanzab on the 17/09/2013.

Karen Webb was director for marketing and communications of the Olympic Park Legacy Company, during the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Coordinated by the British government, the body aimed at maximising the benefits of hosting the Games in terms of jobs, infrastructure and sports development.
