FFF-LFP Beijing office: "Getting into China is a big challenge" (A. Sun, VP business development)

"French football arrives late to the Chinese market, nearly 30 years after its competitors, the Premier League, the Bundesliga, the Serie A, and LaLiga. The French football fan base here in China is smaller with this late entry, therefore getting into China is a big challenge," said Angela Sun, the vice-president for business development at the French Football Office in Beijing (CHN) on 21/07/2017.

The French Football Federation and the French Professional Football League opened this joint office in China, whose director is Romuald Nguyen, on 16/02/2017. "This office responds to the desire of the FFF and the LFP to export French know-how and develop the French football market in China and abroad," explained the Federation and the League in announcing this initiative on 22/09/2016.
