"I will make my decision at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil or after. Not before," said Michel Platini, President of UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) about his possible candidacy for the presidency of FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association), on the 17/09/2013.

"I have not decided yet what I will do in the future and I need a few months of reflection," he said during a UEFA strategic meeting in Dubrovnik (Croatia) to the presidents or secretaries of the 54 affiliated national federations.

Swiss Sepp Blatter has been FIFA's president since 1998. His fourth term, which began in 2011, expires in 2015. "Initially, he said he would stop in 2015. Now he says he will decide what to do in one year in Brazil," said Michel Platini, on the 28/08/2013.
