Manchester City (Premier League ANG) have offered their fans to share their stories with the club through #Citystories, a dedicated platform, on the club's official website since the beginning of the 2013/14 season. "City, our story, written by you. Help us write the history of our club," is written on the home page.

#Citystories platform encourages fans around the world to share their memories and stories related to the club, through a collaborative timeline. After creating a personal space, the user can upload a picture directly on the site, place it on the timeline and write an explanatory text. Other supporters can then comment on the story and share it on Twitter and Facebook.

  • "Our online audiences are growing rapidly and we’re always looking for new ways to engage our fans on a global level.
  • We see this platform as the next step in user generated content.
  • #Citystories allows our fans to produce their own content, tell their own story and share it with the world. We hope our fans love what we have created just for them.”
