2.Bundesliga: Sky Deutschland becomes exclusive broadcaster in Germany for the 2017-18 season

The first match of the 2017-18 2. Bundesliga season, VfL Bochum - FC Saint Pauli (0-1), was broadcast in Germany on the pay-TV channel Sky Bundesliga 1 on Friday, 28/07/2017 (kick-off at 20:30 CET). The other eight games, from Saturday 29 to Monday 31/07/2017, were also broadcast on Sky Deutschland.

In the UK, BT Sport, which broadcast two games of Matchday 1 of the 2016-17 2.Bundesliga, will not broadcast any matches for 2017-18.

In France, beIN Media Group has extended its rights to broadcast the Bundesliga in France, from the 2017-18 season in June 2016, stated the DFL to News Tank Football on 13/07/2017. The pay-TV group did not broadcast any game of Matchday 1 of the 2017-18 season of the German second division.

The 2.Bundesliga will not be broadcast in Italy and Spain for the 2017-18 season.
