Italy: 29% of football fans support Juventus, 16% support Inter, and 15% support AC Milan

Among the 82% of Italians who are interested in football (17% of whom are passionate), 29% are supporters of Juventus (Serie A TIM), 16% of FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM), and 15% of AC Milan (Serie A TIM), according to a survey conducted by the Findomestic Observatory, a company of the BNP Paribas Personal Finance group specialising in consumer credit, on 29/07/2017. A majority (54%) believes that Juve will win a seventh consecutive Italian league title in 2017-18.

37% of Italian calcio enthusiasts intend to subscribe to a pay-TV channel to watch the matches. Among the 48% who do not decide to do the same, the first reason is the lack of interest in football (43%), the second concerns the excessive cost of pay-TV subscriptions (36%).

6% of Italians surveyed decided to purchase a season ticket to the stadium and are willing to spend €284 on average (to be paid, six times out of ten, in one go).
