"The proposal among the IOC and the Bid Committee for Los Angeles, together with Paris' candidacy for 2024, creates a win-win-win scenario for the cities, for fans across the globe and for the Olympic Games. The American audiovisual group acquired the exclusive broadcast rights to the Olympic Games, valid in Europe, for €1.3bn for the 2018-2024 period on 29/06/2015 (see below).
