LaLiga: tender launched for domestic digital rights to the 2017-18 match summaries

LaLiga has launched, on a non-exclusive basis, the tender for the rights to broadcast, in Spain, highlights or mini-summaries of LaLiga Santander, LaLiga 1|2|3 and Copa del Rey matches for the 2017-18 season, indicated the Spanish League on 25/07/2017. These rights apply to internet, mobile and IPTV platforms.

This corresponds, for the season 2017-18, to Lot 10 of the initial tender for the 2016-2019 domestic audiovisual rights, launched by LaLiga on 13/11/2015. This tender contained 10 lots, three of which were awarded on 02/12/2015. A new tender had been issued by the LaLiga Audiovisual Rights Management Authority for the remaining lots, five of which were renumbered on 01/06/2016, and acquired by Mediapro on 20 and 30/06/2016 (see below).

The Supervisory Authority had also decided to cancel the tender for Lots 7 and 10 and to market them directly, on a non-exclusive basis, on 01/06/2016.
