Neymar: third footballer in the world, after C. Ronaldo and Messi, in terms of sponsorship revenue

The Brazilian international Neymar Jr, who signed a five-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama) on 03/08/2017, is the ambassador of many international brands, including Nike (sports equipment), Gillette (hygiene products, Procter & Gamble group), Red Bull (energy drinks), Mastercard (payment solutions) and Beats by Dre (headphones).

His sponsorship revenue is estimated at $22m (€18.6m on 03/08/2017) according to the 2017 ranking of athletes by the US financial magazine Forbes, which makes the new player of PSG the third best paid footballer via sponsors and endorsements. Neymar Jr is behind the Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid CF, $35m / €29.6m) and the Brazilian's former teammate at FC Barcelona, the Argentinian Lionel Messi ($27m / €22.8m).
