The competitions organised by the EFL, the three divisions below the Premier League, will be broadcast in 166 countries during the 2017-18 season, according to the governing body on 02/08/2017. "(This is) the result of an international television rights agreement sold on behalf of the EFL by the Pitch International agency."

The English Football League has extended the contract for the distribution of its international TV rights (outside the United Kingdom) with Pitch International for five seasons, until 2021-22, on 12/02/2016. "Previously announced in 2016, the five-year arrangement guarantees $160m (€139.6m) of revenue, which represents a 68% increase on the previous rights cycle," stated the EFL.

The pay-TV group beIN Sports is the rights holder of the EFL competitions in France. DAZN, the sports OTT platform of Perform Group, holds these rights in Germany, along with the German pay-TV channel Sportdigital and the private audiovisual group Sport1. The pay-TV group Fox Sports Italy has the rights in Italy. No agreement has been signed with a broadcaster in Spain.
