Sky: creation of the Sky VIP loyalty programme based on a subscriber's longetivity with company

Sky has set up Sky VIP, a loyalty programme which rewards a subscriber's longevity with exclusive experiences and content, the British audiovisual group announced on 03/08/2017.

Subscribers must go through the My Sky mobile app to access this programme, which has four 4 levels (see below). All subscribers, registered with Sky VIP, will be able to participate in competitions enabling them to attend sports events (Premier League, NFL games, and more).

  • Sky said it gained 686,000 subscribers for the full year 2016-17, which closed on 30/06/2017, for a total of 22.5 million subscriber households.

Sky VIP: the four levels of loyalty

  • Sky VIP Silver (0 to 3 years of subscription)
    • Starting from a three-year subscription, subscribers will benefit exclusively from the new Sky Atlantic VIP channel and free access to the Sky Go Extra application, allowing Sky to see live or on-demand programs on any device.
      • The subscription to this application is £5 (5.5 €5.5) for other subscribers.
