Twitter: 17.32 million followers in total for the 20 Serie A TIM clubs (August 2017)

The 20 clubs in the 2017-18 Serie A TIM have a cumulative total 17.32 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to the data recorded by News Tank Football on 02/08/2017. The Serie A TIM ranks third in the European Top 5 leagues, behind LaLiga Santander and the Premier League, with 866,189 followers on average per club.

AC Milan are the most followed Italian club with 5.2 million followers, an increase of 306,137 followers (+6.2%) compared to the beginning of July 2017. Juventus are second with 4.8 million followers and an increase of 226,453 followers (+5%) in July 2017.

Six clubs of Serie A TIM (excepting the newly promoted teams) recorded at least a 3.5% increase in followers in the past month. Benevento Calcio, promoted to the Serie A TIM in 2017-18, recorded a 20.3% increase in followers (from 3,537 to 4,255) in the month of July.
