Facebook & Twitter: Top 300 European clubs with the most fans and followers (August 2017)

News Tank Football sets the Top 300 of the most popular European clubs on the social networks Facebook and Twitter at the beginning of each month.

These two rankings, both dominated by Real Madrid CF and FC Barcelona, include the Premier League and Sky Bet Championship (England), LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1 (Spain), Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga (Germany), Ligue 1 Conforama and Domino's Ligue 2 (France), Serie A TIM and Serie B ConTe.it (Italy), as well as those of six other European leagues:
• Liga NOS (Portugal)
• Jupiler Pro League (Belgium)
• Süper Lig (Turkey)
• Raiffeisen Super League (Switzerland)
• Eredivisie (Netherlands)
• Ladbrokes Premiership (Scotland)

In addition to the clubs of the 11 countries mentioned above (13 if including Wales and Monaco, which have teams which play in leagues technically outside their home country), the Top 300 lists include 16 top clubs from nine other European countries (Russia, Serbia, Croatia, Ukraine, Greece, Austria, Poland, Denmark, and Romania)
