EFL: EA Sports (video games) extends as official partner of the League and iFollow OTT service

EA Sports, an American video game company, has extended and expanded its partnership with the EFL for six seasons, until 2022-23, announced the two parties on 03/08/2017. The publisher, who have been officially licensed by the EFL since 2009-10, becomes an official partner, in the second level in the sponsoring hierarchy of the instance.

As part of the agreement, EA Sports becomes EFL's "data partner", ensuring "significant visibility on the screens during all broadcasts through the display of statistics with the EA Sports brand. EA Sports becomes the first sponsor of iFollow, the EFL OTT service launched on 03/05/2017 (see below). EA Sports will also be able to use the EFL platforms to promote the FIFA 18 game.
