Premier League: Western Union (money transfer) shirt sleeve sponsor of Liverpool FC (2017-2022)

Western Union, an American company specialising in money transfer and financial services, has become an official sponsor of Liverpool FC (Premier League) from the 2017-18 season, announced the club on 09/08/2017. This is a 3^rd level partnership in the club's sponsorship hierarchy. Western Union will have the status of "official money transfer partner" of the English club.

The duration of the agreement has not been communicated by Liverpool FC, but according to British media it would extend over five seasons (2017-2022) and should yield £25m (€27.6m) in total to the "Reds", or £5m (€5.5m) per year.

Western Union will display its logo on the left sleeve of the Liverpool FC shirt, and gain visibility on the Anfield (54,000 capacity) LED board, as well as on all communication media of the club. In addition, Western Union will offer on its mobile app to the fans residing in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, and promotions for their money transfers made before 31/08/2017 .
