Women's Euro 2017: 59.8 million viewers (GER, FRA, ESP), record audiences in Germany

The final of the Women's Euro 2017, Netherlands - Denmark (4-2, on Sunday, 06/08/2017, kick-off at 17:00 CET), drew a total of 8.82 million viewers on average in three of the five countries in the European Top 5 (Germany, France, and Spain) and in the Netherlands (host country), for which the audience figures were available.

Viewers on the German public channel ZDF (3.37 million) and the Dutch public channel Nederlandse Publieke Omroep 1 (4.1 million) represent 85% of the viewership in the final. On NPO1, the Netherlands - Denmark final achieved an audience share of 83% for the game, which peaked at 5.5 million viewers, almost one third of the Dutch population (17 million).

Euro 2017 drew at least 59.8 million viewers in Germany, France, and Spain, according to data compiled by News Tank Football. The channels of the France Télévisions public television group drew 23.6 million viewers for 17 games.
