2017 Supercopa de España: 6.5 million vieweers for Real Madrid CF - FC Barcelona on Telecinco

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) - FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander), 2-0, the second-leg match of the 2017 Supercopa de España (Real Madrid won 5-1 on aggregate) Santiago Bernabeu (81,044 capacity), drew 6.55 million viewers on average in Spain on the private, free-TV channel Telecinco, on Wednesday, 16/08/2017 (kick-off at 23:00 CET). The games recorded a peak audience of 7.46 million viewers at 23.32.

This figure represented an audience share of 49.8%, and allows the channel of the Mediaset España group to rank first in the Spanish television market for prime time on 16/08/2017. This is the best average audience for a Spanish Super Cup return match over the last three editions (see below).
