Germany: Eurosport 2 HD Xtra channel (40 matches of Bundesliga) offered via the HD+ bouquet

The German satellite bouquet HD+ has partnered with Discovery Networks Deutschland, the German subsidiary of the American audiovisual conglomerate Discovery Communications, on 04/08/2017. According to the agreement, the bouquet of the German satellite operator SES will include the broadcast of the new pay-TV channel Eurosport 2 HD Xtra, which includes TV rights to the Bundesliga (see below) and access to the Eurosport Player OTT platform.

The HD+ offer also provides access to the broadcast of the Grand Slam tennis tournaments (excluding Wimbledon), the MotoGP series and the Diamond League athletics meetings. To get Eurosport 2 HD Xtra and Eurosport Player, one has to pay €5 per month. However, the offer is free until 04/09/2017 and is non-binding. The Eurosport 1 channel (free-to-air in Germany) has been available in the HD+ basic offer from 01/12/2016.
