USA: creation of the Girondins de Bordeaux USA women's team with Olney Girls 99 (Washington DC)

"As part of the club's international development, FC Girondins de Bordeaux (Ligue 1 Conforama) and the women's club of Olney Girls 99 of Washington DC (United States) signed a partnership to create Girondins de Bordeaux USA," said the Bordeaux club on 09/08/2017.

"This partnership will enable FC Girondins de Bordeaux to establish a permanent presence in the United States, to offer young players from the training centre the opportunity to integrate into an American university, and to be in the front row To observe early talents and to develop the FC Girondins de Bordeaux brand in the immense American market," added Girondins on 09/08/2017.

"The various teams that will now play under the colours of the Girondins de Bordeaux are engaged in the Eastern Regional League. The Olney Girls 99 women's club is now known as the 'Girondins US'," the club added.
