Sports betting: Sportradar partners with the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF)

The Swiss company Sportradar AG, which specialises in the monitoring of sports betting and the provision of sports data, has established a partnership with the CBF, the Brazilian football authority said on 15/08/2017.

Sportradar's mission is to monitor sports betting related to the CBF matches (the first four Brazilian divisions, the Brazilian Série A, B, C and D, and the Brazilian Cup) using its Fraud Detection System (FDS). In addition, the CBF has launched "its own sports betting surveillance department, setting up an integrity officer who will work closely with Sportradar".

"Sportradar already monitors betting patterns on Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and Série B as well as the Brazil Cup through previous agreements with international football governing bodies. By adding this partnership into the mix, Sportradar will add oversight across Série C and Série D," added the CBF.
