2017-18 Bundesliga: a cumulative audience of 131.95 million viewers on Sky Deutschland

The 266 matches of the 2017-18 Bundesliga broadcast on Sky Deutschland pay-TV channels reached a cumulative audience of 131.95 million viewers, or an average of 496,052 subscribers per match. The TV audiences of the other 40 Bundesliga games (306 in total), broadcast by the television group Eurosport via the pay-TV channel Eurosport 2 HD Xtra and the OTT platform Eurosport Player, were not communicated.

In 2016-17, the 306 matches broadcast by Sky Deutschland had a cumulative TV audience of 111.89 million viewers (+17.9% in 2017-18), or an average of 365,653 subscribers per match (+35.6% in 2017-18). However, the AGF Institute admitted to having made an error in its Sky pay-TV audience surveys during the 2016 calendar year on 12/01/2017: AGF believed it had underestimated Sky Deutschland's ratings for half the matches of the 2016-17 season by an average of nearly 16% in 2016.
