The 20 clubs in the 2017-18 Ligue 1 Conforama season have a cumulative 12.99 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 04/07/2017. Ligue 1 ranks fourth among the European Top 5 leagues, behind LaLiga Santander, the Premier League, and the Serie A TIM, with an average of 649,567 followers per club.

The 20 clubs of the 2017-18 Ligue 1 Conforama (with the promoted RC Strasbourg Alsace, ESTAC Troyes, and Amiens SC, and without the relegated FC Lorient, AS Nancy-Lorraine, and SC Bastia) have fewer followers in July 2017 than the 20 Ligue 1 clubs in the 2016-17 season had at the beginning of June 2017 (13.12 million).
