AS Roma: the new stadium project (60,605 seats) estimated at €1.38bn

The new stadium project of AS Roma Activity: Italian professional football club Imperium partners:• adidas (equipment manufacturer): since 2023-24• Eurobet.live (live scores): main shirt sponsor, until 2028-29• Wizz Air (airline)… (Serie A Enilive Italian football's first division, 20 clubs (Enilive acquired the naming rights from 2024-25) ), to be built in the Pietralata district (northeast of Rome, Italy), is estimated at €1.38bn, including €633m dedicated to the construction of the stadium, according to the technical and economic feasibility study delivered by the club in December 2025 and consulted by Italian outlet Il Messaggero.

The stadium is set to have a capacity of 60,605 seats, including 22,769 in the Curva Sud, presented by the club as "the largest south stand in Europe". Construction work is expected to begin in 2027 and to be completed in 2031, over a 37-month period.

As part of the project, the City of Rome will grant the club property rights over the land for a 90-year period, for an amount estimated at around €13.8m.

The financing of the new stadium is mainly supported by a loan of around €600m, a second loan of €205.3m intended to cover VAT, and a €572m contribution directly provided by the club’s shareholders (the Friedkin Group, USA), or by future partners.

The club expects to generate €153.6m in revenues from the new stadium during its first season of operation, including €118m from matchday and season ticket revenues.
