Regarding Ligue 1, which moved from 20 to 18 clubs in 2023-24:
• record average occupancy rate of 87.4% (86.7% in 2024-25);
• average attendance of 27,588 spectators per match (compared with 27,948 the previous season);
• total attendance of 8.39 million spectators (8.55 million in 2024-25).

The highest attendance of the season was recorded during Olympique de Marseille - Stade Brestois (3-0), with 66,279 spectators at a sold-out Stade Orange Vélodrome on 08 November 2025.
Ligue 2, which also switched to 18 clubs in 2024-25, recorded a total attendance of 2.48 million spectators (+8%) and an average of 8,337 per match (+10%), "thus reaching the fifth-highest level in its history."
