UK: talkSPORT acquires the 2016-2018 radio rights to La Liga and the Copa Del Rey

The British radio station talkSPORT has acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights, for the United Kingdom, to La Liga and the Copa Del Rey until the end of the 2017-2018 season, on 24/03/2016. The broadcaster should comment live on approximately 150 Spanish matches on its two stations, talkSPORT and talkSPORT 2.

"The team at talkSPORT 2 have a great deal of experience from covering the Premier League in the UK for talkSPORT, and we are confident that this will serve them well in extending their coverage to the Spanish leagues. We can’t wait to hear how the passion they usually put into commentating Premier League matches is applied to La Liga," said Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, on 24/03/2016.
