A total of 10.87 million spectators attended Ligue 1 McDonald's and Ligue 2 BKT matches during the 2025-26 season, setting a record since both divisions simultaneously switched to 18 clubs in 2024-25 and representing an average attendance of 18,059 spectators per match, the Ligue de Football Professionnel announced on 26 May 2026.
