RFEF: Spanish national team launches an official account on the Chinese social network Weibo

The Spanish national football team will have an official account on the Chinese social network Weibo from Monday 02/11/2020, announced the Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol Activity: Spanish Football Federation Founded: 1913 President: Maria Ángeles García Chaves (as first vice-president, she replaces Pedro Rocha, suspended for two years by Spain's Sports… , on 29/10/2020.

From 02/11/2020, the Spanish national football team will reach football fans in China, with the opening of its official account in Weibo, the most popular social network in the country, where the best of national team football will be brought to the millions of people living in the giant Asian country," said the Spanish Federation.

The creation of this account on Weibo is part of a new partnership between the RFEF and the marketing agency SPORTFIVE Sector: media and marketing rights agency - Activites: consulting, sale of hospitality products, activations, sale of marketing and media rights, strategic and creative marketing, production and… , which aims to increase the presence and visibility of the Spanish national team in China. "From its office in Shanghai, SPORTFIVE will help the RFEF in its strategy of brand positioning in the Chinese market through social networks, as well as in the marketing of the assets and sponsorship rights linked to the Spanish football team," added the RFEF.
