Circle Internet Group, a company specialising in financial services related to cryptocurrencies, has become the main shirt sponsor of Chelsea FC (Premier League) from the 2026-27 season onwards, the club announced on 28 August 2026.

As part of this agreement, the company will feature its USDC stablecoin on the front of the men's and women's (Barclays Women's Super League) team shirts. Chelsea played its first 2026-27 Premier League match (a 3-2 victory over Fulham FC on 24 August) without a main shirt sponsor, following the expiry of its contract with Swedish AI-powered industrial software company IFS at the end of the 2025-26 season.

The English club had also started its 2025-26 campaign without a main shirt sponsor, as its agreement with IFS did not begin until February 2026. Similarly…
